What happens if we don't utilize Lightening? Is there a projected EOL for Classic coming down the road?

Users will still have access to Salesforce Classic when Lightning Experience is turned on."
In one webinar, they showed the date for all orgs to be October 11, 2019.
We just rolled Lightning out to our org in June. We were in control of the schedule, and that's a major plus to work everything out at your own pace.
