Which Lightning Page takes precedence?

A lightning record page in a managed application cannot be edited.  If you wish to customize the lightning record page you have to clone it.

If the managed page was set to be the application default, and you activate your new cloned page and set it to be the application default - you now have two pages set as application default.  (You can't disable the managed page's activation, unfortunately).

SO... now you have two lightning record pages set as the application default.  Which one will be used?

(How does SF Lightning handle multiple lightning record pages that have the same activation level.   Which takes precedence.   (And if you also have pages set as org default, and/or app/record/profile pages — which ultimately takes precedence and determines what page to display?

Appreciate any insight into how precedence among multiple lightning record pages is determined.

Thanks for the info. So — what happens if you have two different lightning pages assigned as the app default? Does SF allow you to activate both pages that way — and if so, how does it determine which of the two pages to use?
