We've just concluded the first round of classic to #LightningStrikes migration in our sales team and we absolutely love it! 

I'm very excited to be sharing this #LightningStrikes tip with all of you. One of the really useful yet underrated feature of #LightningStrikes is the ability to SET COMPONENT FILTERS while editing a Lightning Record Page. Users were frustrated with seeing error messages from a number of validation rules implemented on the Opportunity object. It was going to get even more complicated with the implementation of yet another validation rule that prevents user to move to Stage 2 in an Opportunity unless an Opportunity Product was added.

Setting COMPONENT FILTERS allowed to me make all the lightning components disappear and keep just the Opportunity Product related list and an error message visible if the user tried to go to Stage 2 in an opportunity without adding the Opportunity Product.

1. No work gets lost

2. There are no annoying error messages

3. Everyone is happy :)  #LightningStrikes came to the rescue :)
