Our Director Of North American Sales lives and breathes in Forecast in Salesforce Classic. As im Preparing for our Switch to Lightning i noticed that it isn't supported yet in lightning. Any Updates on this? i assume since we are receiving a deadline to switch by Winter 19' this will be supported by then?

Are you still on Customizable Forecasting? if so, then please migrate to Collaborative Forecasting, as customizable forecasting is being end of lifed by Summer '20 release. Collaborative Forecasting is already on Lightning, and with more capabilities, while Customizable Forecasting is only available in classic.
