Has anyone found a way to control the default value of the "Send Notification Email" check box that you see when you change the owner of a Custom Object in LEX?
The "Send Notification Email" is automatically checked when you change the owner on a custom object in Lightning. In Classic, this same check box is not checked by default. Our sales people don't want these notifications and don't want to have to uncheck this box every time ownership is adjusted.

Usually if a default is different in Lightning that's because it was changed in response to customer feedback (e.g. via Ideas Exchange), where the majority wanted it the other way around. I'm not sure if it's possible for an admin to change the default,though, but one of our product team members might have some insights as to whether this is on the roadmap.
