In one week, Lightning Experience won't be available anymore to IE11 users if we don't opt in for the feature. As said in the doc: "If you have not opted in prior to December 16, 2017, your users will no longer be able to access Lightning Experience with IE11. They will be automatically redirected to the Salesforce Classic experience."
What will happen for users that have the "Hide Option to Switch to Salesforce Classic" ? Obviously these ones have never seen Classic before, and Classic was not setup correctly as they don't have access to it.
Any way to prevent access to Classic to these users on Monday ?

No we didn't opted in for the extended support. I'm ok not being redirected though, it's not just what I thought would happen and not what we told our users.
