Is it possible to create object-specific actions on custom objects and have them show as buttons on the record detail page in lightning experience? I've had success with standard objects, but when creating actions in my org on custom objects they only appear in the feed.
@Vin Addala I'm trying to use teh "Create Record" quick action from an FSL "Work Order" object - which I believe is a custom object. From the work order object I'm trying to create a custom object "Billing Request".
I've created the action and dragged it to the "Salesforce 1 and Lightning Experience Actions". My expectation is that the button would show in the upper right hand section of the detail page along with the other buttons in the group - but instead it only appears in the chatter feed.
I opened a case and the SFDC rep said actions were not supported on custom objects but I haven't seen anything in the doc or in Ideas that support this. I assume this is something fairly common and if it were not available there would at least be something stated in the documentation and an Idea posted already.
