@Jeff Davis On previous projects using older releases with LEX two 'Recently Viewed' List Views displayed; with no way to edit them or hide them. Has this been resolved?

@Mark Bruso to summarize my answer on the call: Recently Viewed and Recently Viewed <object> (like Recently Viewed Accounts) are different lists. Recently Viewed is the default for object home in both Classic and Lightning. Recently Viewed <object> is an out of the box list view that all orgs get.
