Can users customize tabs in Lightning like they do in Classic? How do you add custom object tabs in Lightning to the Sales App?

We are working on bringing end-user customization of the nav bar to Lightning in a future release. So something very similar in concept to Customize My Tabs is coming. For now, we hope Favorites can help users shortcut their navigation by quickly jumping to content they use frequently.
