#Dashboard Pal5 discutindo

Our org is looking to upgrade any installed packages that still have components on an API version below 45.0. One of the last ones we have is Dashboard Pal, which is a Salesforce Labs app.

The latest version v2.6.0 (last updated on the appexchange on 01/09/2023) still has some components on API versions below 45.0.

Is there anyone I can contact about these Salesforce Labs apps? I can't see any support email on the appexchange listing. I also can't seem to find the Salesforce Labs group which I have been told does exist!

    Because Dashboard Pal is a free Salesforce Labs application rather than an officially supported commercial product, it does not have a dedicated direct support email on the AppExchange. Instead, Salesforce Labs tools are community-supported. Here are some options for support:

    1. Post here on the Trailblazer, like you already have.

    2. Open a Salesforce support case, but remember that you may not get help because it is a Salesforce Labs appL

     3. Since many Salesforce Labs solutions are open source, you can check the

    Dashboard Pal GitHub Repository to log issues, view pull requests, or inspect code components regarding API versions.

    @Josh Wiseman

    I’d treat this as a package-maintenance issue first rather than just looking for a replacement.

    If Dashboard Pal is unmanaged/older Labs code with components below the required API version, I’d check whether the package is still actively maintained before investing time in an alternative. If it isn’t, a small custom Lightning solution may actually be easier to maintain long term.

Hi, is it possible to limit the Dashboard Folders visible on Dashboard pal to folders that only a user has been invited to? Currently, my users are seeing all the  Dashboard folders

I need to create persnolised dashboards for each user and push  to their home page. I wanted to try Dashboard Pal, I have installed it however I do not see any changes. Am I missing something here? How can users change Dashboard on home page? Please help, thanks.

    @Richard Johnson each user has different targets. We need to use guage chart and there the values we add are different for each user. This dashboard will tell where they wrt the targets defined. Dynamic dashboards will not help here. Hence using Dashboard pal. @Linda Thompson Done the same and I am very happy with outcome :)
