#Trailhead Challenges #TrailblazerCommunity

For someone graduating this year and trying to get their first Salesforce job, what skills would experienced Trailblazers suggest focusing on during the next 3–6 months?

Hi @Somraj Tejavath For the next 3–6 months, I suggest focusing on practical skills rather than just certifications.

    1. Salesforce Admin: Learn Objects, Relationships, Security, Validation Rules, Reports and Dashboards.
    2. Flow Automation: Practice Record-Triggered Flows and Screen Flows with real-time scenarios.
    3. Development: Learn SOQL, Apex, Triggers, Test Classes and basic LWC.
    4. Real-Time Projects: Build at least 2 complete projects and understand how to explain them in interviews.
    5. Interview Preparation: Practice scenario-based questions, improve communication skills and attend mock interviews.
    6. Agentforce & Data 360: Learn the fundamentals to stay updated with the Salesforce ecosystem.

    My advice:

Don't try to learn everything at once. Build a strong foundation in Admin and Flow first, then move to Development.

Companies look for freshers who can understand requirements, solve problems and explain what they have built.

    All the best!
