I'm working in a SF sandbox with a production Docusign account. I am trying to place mergefields to my envelope template, but each time I try to save a non-standard field (signature, name will save) I get an error.
A few steps I've taken:
- Disconnected and reconnected
- Tried updating sender permissions within docusign
- Tried other browsers
Any ideas as what may be happening or steps to take?

Thanks everyone for the helpful input. In order to resolve the issue I ended up creating a docusign developer account to log into, the mergefields are now working swimmingly. I am nervous for moving into production and navigating the rebuild, but sandbox is working swimmingly.
