The error means CPQ can’t calculate subscription term because it’s missing either an End Date or Subscription Term + Subscription Term Unit.

On the Quote, ensure either End Date is set, or Subscription Term and Subscription Term Unit are populated.

On the Quote Line, for subscription products, set either End Date (or SBQQ__EffectiveEndDate__c) or Subscription Term and Subscription Term Unit.

Make sure Start Date is earlier than End Date; otherwise you’ll get a date‑order error.

If Subscription Term is 0 or blank and End Date is missing, CPQ can’t price the line.

If you’re in a Trailhead challenge, match the exact values shown in the instructions for subscription term and unit.

If you’re still stuck, check the Quote and Quote Line values and confirm one of the two combinations above is present and valid.
