How to mark user unlicensed if inactive in Active Directory automatically

Hi There,

 

I am looking for automation of my users in Tableau server. Please guide me how can I do the same.

 

Server Configuration: My Tableau server authentication is Active Directory

 

Case Statement: When any user who has access on Tableau server leaves company then how can I mark them Unlicensed in Tableau to release my license for further use.

 

Requirement: Above process should be automatic using some batch scripting or power shell scripting.

    Hi Sandip

     

    If you're on version 10 then there is the facilty in the server admin UI settings to set up a schedule to sync with the AD.  This automatically sets any leavers to unlicensed on the server.
