Asset Creation in RLM

Hi, 

I am using the standard 

"Create Contract" button to generate a contract for subscription-based products from opportunity. While the Contract record and Contract Line Items are created successfully, no Asset records are being generated

 for the products. 

Since the OOB "Assetize Order" flow is designed to trigger on Order Activation, what is the best practice for creating Assets if our business process doesnt have order management ? 

If we trigger Asset creation from the Contract instead of the Order, will this break the standard RLM Renewal/Amendment engines? 

Even if we create Order to be able to create assets from standard action, how can we make sure that data is sync between contract, order and opportunity ? 

Please sugget the best approach for this.
