Hey everyone! I don't know if it's just me, but I find the Path component in Salesforce to be an incredibly helpful UI piece for visualizing processes. (if you're not familiar with path, here's a link

I think Path was originally created for Sales Cloud (somebody correct me if I'm wrong), but it has so many potential applications across every industry imaginable. Right now, Path can only be used with certain objects, which means it can't be used in some places that it would be really helpful. (For us in higher education, we'd like to use it with a Transcript Status field on the PersonEducation object to help us with our transcript intake/processing workflow.) 

I have posted an idea on IdeaExchange to make the path component a universal component that can be used with any picklist field on any object instead of being limited to certain objects. If you would find that to be a useful enhancement, consider upvoting my idea! And let me know if there's a way you'd like to use Path that you can't currently do.
