As per the guidelines of trailhead I'm simply typing "npm install" in VS CODE terminal, unfortunately it is showing me the below error...

PS C:\Users\orien\OneDrive\Documents\Dreamhouse SF> npm install

npm : The term 'npm' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or

if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

At line:1 char:1

+ npm install

+ ~~~

    + CategoryInfo          : ObjectNotFound: (npm:String) [], CommandNotFoundException

  + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException

Note - I tried some possibilities at my end like I've created the new path under "user variables" of my system, also I checked the command prompt to check the latest version of Node.js and npm.

Please Help?
