I am working on setting up Einstein Activity Capture for my company.  I'm at the part where I need my IT to setup Network Access per the article  Allowing Network Access When Using Einstein Activity Capture with a Microsoft Exchange Server (salesforce.com) but my IT Company is being very cautious and is concerned about the security of our system if Salesforce was to get hacked.  Could anyone help me ease their concerns or provide solutions for how we can protect ourselves in the case that SF is compromised?

Hello!  I'm running into the same issue with concerns from our Email/Security teams.  I'm still working through things but what we are using the OAuth with the Service Account connection.  We found that in AD we could remove the permissions the security team was concerned with and also able to assign an AD group that only allows EAC access to people in that AD group.  Hope this helps!
