We are a team of 16 and new in Salesforce. As a Project Manager, I would like to measure the productivity and quality from the work done by my Salesforce Admins. Currently, they are building a Project Management tool. Please share your KPIs or how you measure your team's productivity and quality work. Thank you.

    Hello @Leonora Carampil,

Measuring the productivity and quality of your Salesforce Admin team can be crucial for ensuring the success of your Salesforce implementation and ongoing projects. Here are some key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics you can consider implementing to track their productivity and quality of work:

    1. User Adoption Rate: Measure the percentage of users actively using the Salesforce system and engaging with the Project Management tool built by your admins. Low adoption rates may indicate issues with usability or functionality.
    2. Time to Deploy New Features/Customizations: Track the time it takes for your Salesforce Admins to develop and deploy new features or customizations in the Project Management tool. This metric can help gauge their efficiency in delivering enhancements to meet business requirements.
    3. Number of Bugs/Issues Reported: Monitor the number of bugs or issues reported by users related to the Project Management tool. This can help identify areas for improvement and assess the quality of the admins' work.
    4. Change Success Rate: Measure the success rate of changes implemented by your Salesforce Admins, such as new configurations, customizations, or integrations. This can be calculated by dividing the number of successful changes by the total number of changes implemented within a specific timeframe.
    5. Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Score: Gather feedback from end-users through surveys or feedback forms to assess their satisfaction with the Project Management tool and the support provided by the Salesforce Admin team.
    6. Training Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs or resources provided to users to ensure they can effectively utilize the Project Management tool. This can be measured by assessing users' proficiency and confidence in using the system over time.
    7. System Performance Metrics: Monitor system performance metrics such as page load times, data processing times, and error rates to ensure optimal performance of the Project Management tool.
    8. Compliance with Best Practices and Standards: Ensure that your Salesforce Admins adhere to best practices, coding standards, and Salesforce platform limitations while developing and customizing the Project Management tool.
    9. Feedback from Stakeholders: Regularly solicit feedback from stakeholders, such as project managers, department heads, or executives, to assess their satisfaction with the functionality and usability of the Project Management tool.
    10. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within your Salesforce Admin team by regularly reviewing processes, seeking feedback, and implementing enhancements to increase productivity and quality of work.

By tracking these KPIs and metrics, you can gain valuable insights into the productivity and quality of work delivered by your Salesforce Admin team and identify areas for optimization and improvement. It's essential to regularly review and analyze these metrics to drive ongoing enhancements and ensure the success of your Salesforce implementation and projects.
