We're slowly but surely moving forward with our B2B LEX implementation, and are at the stage where we're validating our pattern for segregating product by buyer group so that buyers can search only through the common inventory and the specific reserved items from which they are allowed to purchase. In order to achieve this, we've created an Entitlement Policy for the common items, and then one for each of the Buyer Groups individually. The Buyer Groups then get both the common EP and their own, and the union of the two policies should be the pool of Products from which they can search and purchase. What we discovered was that the checkbox on Search labelled "Skip additional entitlement check for search" appears to have fundamental control over whether this scenario works.
