We do not use publication lists right now, but very soon we are going to implement 5 publication lists. How can we automatically add any new subscribers to all 5 lists? Our subscribers are extracted from sales cloud daily and live in a data extension.   I believe for all current subscribers, we can import them to each publication list, a small, one-time task. (I thank the community here for helping out with that!) But going forward we want to ensure that all new subscribers are automatically added to each publication list. That way if they visit the subscription center they see they're subscribed to everything. And this would avoid situations where users see they're subscribed to 2 lists one day and 5 a week later without manually changing their preferences.

I received a solution detailed below, but it seems rather complex for this situation: -You can create a Scheduled automation and use Data extension extract to extract the updated Data extension and then use File transfer to move it to FTP and then configure an import activity to the publication list.

Thanks in advance! :)

    Hi Jacob,

Sorry to say but the given recommended solution is the best and the easiest one in case you want to go with Publication Lists :

However, Best way to implement such a scenario is to use the custom preference center page using SFMC Landing Pages where the data is consumed directly from DE and in such a case separate Publication list will be not required.

    Thanks.
