I am new to CPQ looking for some help.
While renewing my contract I am not able to create renewal quote on renewal opportunity even if i have selected renewal quoted checkbox to true , i am just able to create renewal Opportunity , so can anyone please tell what is the reason why renewal quote is not generated.

What @Erik Hammel is saying makes lots of sense. Do you have a process builder, workflow rule, flow that is triggered when you try to create a quote? A good way to track the error is using the debug logs in the developer console. Sometimes they will give you a hit to find out what is causing the issue.
