#Save토론 중인 항목 2개

Hi Everyone,

I have one user that has reported a variety of issues in Salesforce starting Monday of this week. We're in a large org and only this one user appears to be experiencing these issues. I'd consider the user to be a super user so they are very familiar with how things should function.

  • Various components on the page are loading at different speeds - doesn't seem to be object and/or record type specific and it could be in the layout, quick actions, the Activity feed, etc.
  • Search isn't working for lookup fields.
  • The Save button isn't available on some records when they are open to edit - and if the Save button isn't available, the user then gets a popup asking if they want to save changes when they leave the page. This is very random, they can open 3 records of the same type and 2 will have the Save button while the 3rd doesn't

What We've Tried:

  • Happens in both Chrome and Edge (but Chrome seems worse) - we've confirmed we both have the same version of Chrome.
  • It doesn't appear to be wifi related - they're not having issues with other apps or tools.
  • They've restarted their router.
  • They've restarted their computer multiple times.

Any idea what's causing this, or better yet, how to solve it?

Thanks!

These symptoms — random missing Save button, broken lookup search, components loading unevenly, for one user in a large org — are almost always client-side, not Salesforce. Server-side problems hit everyone. Work it in this order:

    1) Open Salesforce in an Incognito/Private window (extensions off by default). If it behaves there, you've found it — a browser extension or corrupted cache.

    2) Disable browser extensions one at a time. Ad blockers, Grammarly, password managers and security/VPN extensions are the classic cause of missing Save buttons and dead lookup search — they inject into or block parts of the Lightning DOM.

    3) Clear cache and cookies for the Salesforce domain (a corrupted cached resource makes components load partially).

    4) Try the same login on a different browser or machine. If the trouble stays behind, it's the device/profile; if it follows the user, look at their account settings.

    5) Since it started Monday, check whether IT pushed a browser update, a new security extension, or a proxy/network change to that machine — a throttling proxy also explains the staggered loads and failed lookup searches.

Start with the Incognito test — it isolates extension-vs-cache in about 30 seconds.

if this helps, please mark it as the Best Answer so it helps the next person — thanks 🙂

Hi, I'm new to Salesforce surveys and I have created my first survey but when I tried to save it I received the error: We can't save your survey because of an error: null

Can anyone shine some light on where I have gone wrong for me??

Hi - I asked about data blending last week but got no response so I'll be more specific in hopes of getting help, like, today if possible...

Client needs a dashboard created with one CSV file and one TXT file as the datasources.   I can't get any actual data connections for this one, sadly, and I don't even have the option to put the content into a db.

Problem is, trying the bizarre **** known as Data Blending yields nothing at all.

I just need to join them, like a pair of tables, on 4 fields or so.  Full outer join with all fields from both tables showing in the resultant view, even if they have to be Null because of a lack of matching in the opposite file.

e.g. File 1 has columns A B C D E, file 2 has b c d F G H I.

After joining, I would have A [Bb] [Cc] [Dd] E F G H I.

That's all I want to do, but I can't even find the option to add a second datasource with a join, the way I would in a database connection.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Hi Dave,

Well, Here are the simple steps I followed to connect two data files, one CSV to another text file. It worked beautifully.

Hi Dave, Well, Here are the simple steps I followed to connect two data files, one CSV to another text file. It worked beautifully.

Step 1: connect using Text file:

Step 2: To add the CSV, you have two options:

Option 1: In case the CSV is at the same location as the Text file, Simply drag the CSV file and join.

Option 2: In case the CSV is at other file location, Click on add button and add another data source through a Text file. Locate the CSV and drag it to the joining area and Click on full outer join or whatever kind of join you want.

Let me know in case you need some more help.

    Abhi.

Using 1.33 when I create a team and select the domain it does not save. I have to save the team and edit the team details in order for it to save.
