how do i resolve this error Could not create the view: org.mule.tooling.properties.views.MulePropertiesView

I was running Anypoint platform 7.22. It said I needed to update some stuff so I did. Now I have Anypoint Platform 7.24 and it does not work. I get this error "Could not create the view: org.mule.tooling.properties.views.MulePropertiesView".  I tried to go back to 7.22 but I can only download either 7.20 or 7.24 - and what a pain it is to even get to the downloads. Anyway. Hopefully I have not trashed my applications. Does anyone have an answer as to how to get past this properties view error? Also does not seem possible to actually get help directly from MuleSoft / Salesforce, so here I am :)  Stephen

    These steps didnt yeild any results. Can you confirm whether the path you mentioned above are correct? I dont see any option to access Maven update from project explorer.  

     

    Not sure whats happening with Mule. Every studio upgrade will come with bunch of issues. Its better to install a studio from scratch instead of upgrading

Anypoint Runtime Manager Schedules

Hi,

I'm currently encountering a few issues with schedules not appearing on Runtime Manager (Cloudhub 2.0). Up until today these schedules were available to view. I'm using Microsoft Azure Devops to deploy my API's and from previous experiences have learnt that anypoint-exchange-v3 is needed for the schedulers to appear. The schedules themselves look to be running but I cannot view them directly on Runtime Manager.

 

Anypoint Runtime Manager SchedulesI did notice when I opened up the web browser dev tools that there is a GET call for the schedulers which is returning the following error (500): Fallback Response for Ang Service activated. Previous Result: null || Previous Exception net.jodah.failsafe.CircuitBreakerOpenException with Message: null - Not sure if this helps to find the cause?

 

Everything had previously been working up till today and nothing has changed on the deployment. Has anyone else encountered similar issues and do you you know what might be causing this issue?

    I'm just checking my notes. I think the schedulers reappeared for me by themselves after a little while. I also found that, although they weren't showing in the UI, the schedulers were still running.

    Are you seeing something similar?

    Just a couple of questions:

    • Are you deploying them using Anypoint Exchange V3?
    • Do you have a development environment for the API? If so, are the schedulers visible there?

Is anyone interfacing with Microsoft GP 2018

We need to move some external data into GP but the connector says it supports v 2015 and we have 2018.    What have others done?

    As the issue we have is with the Mulesoft connector not supporting the 2018 and only the 2015 version,  I wonder what assistance they can offer but asking them about options couldn't hurt.

Anypoint Studio 6: projects don't launch nor debug. It only works when "Copy project into workspace" is checked.

When I import a project normally and try to run or debug it the Studio only builds it and it stops there. I have found that when I import a project with "Copy project into workspace" checkbox being checked then it runs and debugs normally. The studio is the latest one. Studio 7 works normally. I have reinstalled studio 6, changed the workspace folder - nothing helped. Any ideas?

    So - this is what happened to me: 

    I entered environment variables to the runtime config. Then this exact problem started. 

     

    I removed environment variables and went with the default conf files again and it's running good. Hope this can be some help to others that come over the same issue. 

     

    Neither Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude were any help :D

Starting April 6, 2026, we are transitioning Anypoint Platform’s mailing distribution system to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next. As a result, you or your company-provided mail server will begin receiving emails from the new email system, which will use new sender (‘from’) and reply-to (‘reply-to’) addresses. 

 

This transition period begins April 6, 2026, and we expect all emails to be sent exclusively from the new processing system by April 30, 2026. Between April 6, 2026 and April 20, 2026 your server will continue to receive emails from both the existing and new systems. 

 

Why is this changing:

Anypoint Platform is transitioning to a new email distribution system to improve security and resilience of our email alert notifications service. 

 

What do you need to do:

To continue receiving all necessary communications from Anypoint Platform, take these actions:

  1. Configure your email server system to allow emails from the new email processing system, which uses the new sender and reply-to addresses. 
  2. Update configurations in your email server to prevent Anypoint Platform emails from being incorrectly identified as spam. 

 

Review this Knowledge Article for more details on how to prepare for this upcoming change and implement changes. We request that you take these actions because MuleSoft doesn’t have knowledge about your email server or configurations to automate this on your behalf. 

 

What happens if you don’t make the change:

If you don’t make this change, then effective April 6, 2026 you will risk losing access to critical emails from Anypoint Platform. This change does not affect your runtime APIs or integration flows.

I created a custom dashboard with custom metric using send custom metric connector in the flow. But I dont see any data points in the graph. I have configured dimensions, facts and enabled monitoring as well.

I am trying to create a custom dashboard using a custom metric. I have included a send custom metric connector and configured dimension which is a string value and facts which is a numeric value. In the dashboard I have switched to advanced mode and chose Panel Type as Application Panel. In the query, I chose From as custom_metric. In the selected Field I specified Facts which is a numeric value and I chose mean() function on it. In the GroupBy Tag, I included Dimension which is a string. I have triggered the flow multiple times and made sure the connector is passed through in execution. I still dont see any data points whatever the time range I selected. Looking for some help on this?

Anypoint Code Builder: "Asset Unavailable" error when attempting to import RAML fragments

We currently use Anypoint Studio, but I am learning how to migrate to/use Anypoint Code Builder. I am starting with the "American Flight" tutorial to get the hang of the new toolset.

 

Unfortunately, early on in the tutorial where I am directed to import RAML fragments (American Flight Data Type and American Flights Example), I receive an error that the assets are unreachable.

 

Anypoint Code Builder: 

I am logged in to Exchange via VS Code, am I able to search for and find the RAML assets from the command palette, and the assets are added to my "exchange.json" file. But the dependencies are not brought in, and the Problems tab references my "exchange.json" file.

 

I have logged out and back in to Exchange, I have restarted VS Code multiple times, I have changed network settings, but nothing has helped thus far. This is not a good experience just walking through a simple tutorial with the new platform tools.

    I am having a similar issue but with other specs from my company's private exchange. I have noticed that if I look at the output from 'Mule DX Server' in VSCode, I see the following error and warning (the actual artifact data removed for privacy)

parallel for each , reprocessed error records

Hi i want to store and reprocessed the records inside the parallel for each , i am using object store to store the record .

  1. how to call the flow again to process the failed record,after parallel for each stopped
  2. how to pass retretive(objec store) payload to request api
  3. how to stop the flow once all failed records are processed

is store and reterive both should present inside the parallel for each flow?parallel for each , reprocessed error records

    In my opinion, adding VM connector on your flow will achieve those requirements.

     

    Below is a sample flow to implement pagination which is roughly the same concept. VM listener will keep on firing while there is data published to it.

Error: To use 'FlightRecorder', first unlock using -XX:+UnlockCommercialFeatures. when running my application through Anypoint Studio v7.24

Hello...In the past, I had no issues running my application through Anypoint Studio but after application updates, i'm getting the following error when trying to run my application.  I'm still using the same source code as before. 

 

Launching a JVM...
Error: To use 'FlightRecorder', first unlock using -XX:+UnlockCommercialFeatures.
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
JVM exited while loading the application.
Automatic JVM Restarts disabled.  Shutting down.
<-- Wrapper Stopped

 

I've looked for where FlightRecorder could be enabled and haven't found anything stating that it is. 

 

I've found one location in wrapper.conf buried within the AnypointStudio Application Package contents, but it specifies that the FlightRecorder is disabled (below).  Where else would FlightRecorder be enabled?
