How to fix The 'New Oppty Compact Layout' compact list is not configured for the opportunity object.

Please confirm that your newly created Compact Layout is selected as the Primary Compact Layout under Compact Layout Assignment. If you have already done this and the challenge is still not validating, try completing the challenge in a newly created Trailhead Playground, as some users have reported that recreating the steps in a fresh playground resolved the issue.
