Hello, I hope youโ€™re doing well.

I need to set up SSO authentication using Microsoft ID for several Tableau Cloud sites. I followed the official setup guide, and it worked successfully for the first site. However, when I attempted to configure SSO for a second site, the SSO login stopped working for the initial site.

Could someone please help me understand what might be causing this issue?

    Hi Bruno!

If SSO works for the first Tableau Cloud site but stops working after configuring the second site, Iโ€™d first check whether both sites are using the same Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) application/configuration and whether the SSO settings are being overwritten.

    A few things to verify:

    • Check the Entity ID / Reply URL (ACS URL) configured in Microsoft Entra ID for each Tableau Cloud site.
    • Confirm that each site has the correct SAML metadata/certificate and SSO configuration.
    • Check whether the same Entra application is being reused and whether its redirect/reply URLs support both sites.
    • Verify the NameID/email claim matches the Tableau Cloud user identity.
    • Test each site separately using the Tableau SSO login and check the SAML sign-in logs in Microsoft Entra ID for the failing site.

If the second configuration changed the existing Entra app's SAML settings, that could explain why the first site stopped working.

If you can share whether you're using one Microsoft Entra application for both Tableau sites or
