My company's Tableau server has been used for about a year now and we would like to begin taking advantage of the Data Catalog to document our existing data sources.
Currently, the majority of tables and database/files are listed as "Extract" or "hyper_0.hyper". I have searched around menus and training videos , but I cannot find a way to change the names. Any advice?

Hi @B Crawford - I imagine you set up the name when they are published, no? Unless I am missing something in your question. From my experience, the names are set at the time of publication and if you want to 'change the name', that means you have to re-publish with a new name.
