In Tableau, how to roll-up the map to show data at continents level from country data?

Question

I have sales data country wise, like US, IN, KZ, RN, CN, MX, CA, PK, and many more.

I want to show in tableau this country level data to 7 continent level data in MAPS.

Note: My data set doesn't not have continent to country mapping and neither full country name just the short form of country, i.e country codes

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

you can group the data together manually or use create a separate cross over sheet and join it to the data

make your own in a spreadsheet and join it with your data - that is option 2 in the post I sent you    Continent        County Europe             UK Europe             Germany Europe             France   etc  you can use country codes if that is what you have in the data and then join on the country code  - it eill act like a vlookup in a spread sheet   If this posts assists in resolving the question, please mark it as “Best Answer” or Upvote.  Also please help use better track your reply by including a mention to the volunteer who provided the answer  – mine is    @[Jim Dehner]​   Thank you.
