Has anyone had the above situation whereby there's an external load balancer for within the intranet that is used to access Tableau Server along with SAML, SSL enabled, and then a reverse proxy in the DMZ/Internet zone.
After following instructions on the onlinehelp.tableau.com for setting up reverse proxy, we are able to launch the reverse proxy link, authenticate with samL but the link changes to the internal link after successful auth.
I wonder if we need to change/update the SAML metadata from Tableau Server that is registered with the SAML IdP to forward back to the correct calling URL
Thoughts?

This isn't my expertise, but is there a reason you don't use the same URL for both types of traffic?
