Hi, I'm an unemployed person who is interested in getting my salesforce administration certificate but When I try to sign up and after the completion of the preparation i wanted to enroll for the exam but it asks for my company name. Can I write exam without a company ?

Yeah that's completely fine. You can add maybe college name or some other name.
Company name is something which you can change anytime in trailhead.
