I have a customer, they already use Sales & Service Cloud. They are a Trucking Company.
Now they want to find a system which help them Assign Available Truck for specific shipment & help their driver optimize routing to save Time & Cost.
I think Field service can use in the same case. Mobile worker as a Driver, they will receive task from manager & drive their care to pickup cargo.
Please help me to give some advice if you already go through this case.

Salesforce Field Service has capabilities that are definitely good fit for truck - transportation, and management of fleets etc. Salesforce Field Service also has map routing features.
However, often I come across the question on another inter-related product "Salesforce Map" from some customers, and whether to go with full-blown "Salesforce Field Service" product or an almost subset of "Salesforce Maps" product.
