We have Salesforce and are looking to add HR Functionality to track training, how would you suggest we do this?
- Need to consider exactly what HR functionality could be needed, and whether there are any security concerns (even from the perspective of the Salesforce Admin seeing personal data)
- If all of the users are in the org, could potentially use Campaigns and Campaign Member functionality as a 'simple' OOTB setup
- Need to plan the process, prioritise requirements and manage expectations
How can I hide fields for different funder requirements?
- Record Type/Page Layouts could be too much - Dynamic Forms could be best
- But they went wrong before!
- Use a sandbox first, play here, test, demo, deploy
- Change Sets and ClickDeploy (Copado Essentials) are great options for small orgs
- Chrome Plugin for ORGanizer for Salesforce - Quick Login As in Incognito Mode
How do you manage contacts where they have different email addresses which need to be used for different mailing purposes e.g. one for donations, another for press releases? Marketing tools, like MailChimp, expect one email address...
- Now this was a discussion...all agreed that there is definitely no 'great' answer here...any suggestions on how this is handled?
Challenges with Salesforce Forms, any suggestions on how we get a attachment into Salesforce, we are getting errors because the record it is attached to doesn't exist yet...
