Is it possible to associate an email to a custom record with Einstein Activity Capture as it was possible with Salesforce for Outlook?

Hello,

My users miss the previous functionnality they had before migrating to Einstein Activity Capture : https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.faq_sfo_can_i_assign_to_custom.htm&type=5

Is there any way to associate (automatically or manually) an email to a custom record?

    Thanks for your answer. 

    That means that this is impossible to relate an email to any other object or custom object? 

    This is too bad to lose this kind of functionality with new features.
