I'm relatively new to Marketing Cloud and am still trying to figure a lot of it out. I recently managed to deploy the Nonprofit Templates relating to @Marketing Cloud Engagement for Nonprofit and am trying to preview and test emails within one of the journeys just to make sure that everything works.
What I'm struggling with is that I am receiving errors when trying to preview the email and then send the test. I'm getting an error message asking me to check and correct any spaces between percent signs (%%) - Correct the HTML (or Text) Body of your email. Is this something that is common and an easy thing to resolve? I've had a look at the spaces between the % symbols and there weren't any there. I'm just trying to figure out what the issue is in the hopes that I can resolve it all today.

It seems that you are using personalisations to bring firstname and lastname value - check whether you have fields with such names in either Profile Attributes or the source you are selecting for test. For example, if you do not have such Profile Attributes and you pick All Subscribers for the test you will see exactly that errors because SFMC was not able to find a columns from which it can pick up data needed for the personalisation you added to the email.
