I have had a play with Engagement Plans in a Sandbox. Looks great!
Our Philanthropy Manager has been asking for something like this, so I keen to show it off.
There seems to be a small issue possibly.
I set up my first template with Default Assignee = User Creating Engagement Plan.
I then added a couple of tasks in the Template and left the Assigned To field blank on one of them.
When I created the Engagement Plan on a Contact, the task that should have been assigned to me was assigned to the owner of the Contact record.
I then changed the Default Assignee to Owner of Object for Engagement Plan, but the behavior didn't change.
Seems to ignoring this setting?
@Nonprofit Success Pack@Mike Peppou Thank you so much for testing Engagement Plans in your sandbox and reporting this to us. I've repeated this behavior in my own instance and opened an issue for our developers to investigate https://github.com/SalesforceFoundation/Cumulus/issues/2291 This is due to release to production tonight, and I highly doubt this will hold up that release. It will be something to keep in mind as you're actively using Engagement Plans until it can be fixed in an an upcoming release after this one.
