HOW DO I CORRECT THESE ISSUES. Challenge and information before it are not intuitive. Following directions does not seem to help as many items are not visible.

Hi Richard,

You should enable communities in your org to resolve this issue.

Go to Set--> Search for Communities Settings--> Enable Communities.
