Does anyone know if you can base a discount schedule on a text value? The situation is for product A there is a configuration attributable with 5 options that are text values. We want the price to change based on the value of the configuration attribute. I looked into using "Quote Line Quantity Field" on the discount schedule but it only works for number values. I also thought about using price rules but wanted to avoid creating a price rule for each value of the configuration attributable. Any guidance would be appreciated.

@Christopher Hickman thanks for the suggestion. I thought of this as well, but was hoping there was another way I was unaware of. It does not appear to be the case though. I'll go with this approach, thanks for the confirmation!
