🔊 Important Announcement: Retirement of Engage for Gmail Chrome Extension
Starting in June 2024, Google no longer supports Manifest V2 Chrome extensions, which means that the Engage for Gmail Chrome extension is retiring.
How does this change affect me?
When Google stops supporting Manifest V2, you won’t be able to use the Engage for Gmail Chrome extension.
You can continue to use Account Engagement Sales Email & Alerts (formerly Salesforce Engage) licenses to send emails directly through Salesforce instead of using the Engage for Gmail Chrome extension.
What action do I take?
Before June 1, 2024, we recommend planning how your users will transition from the Engage for Gmail Chrome extension to other available sending options.
