Hi,
I have recently joined a hotel group using Opera as a PMS system and will be doing the BI for them in Tableau. We currently use Excel spreadsheets generated in the Vision server as data sources but it will be ideal to have a data warehouse pointing directly to Opera or getting updated daily.
As far as I am aware Oracle do offer a solution but it is quite costly. Does anyone work with live data from Opera and how does the integration work?

Hello,
If you have on property installation of Opera, you can connect with a ODBC/database connection. If you need more information, you can reach me on jodson.joseph@gmail.com.

I work in the airline industry as a consultant.
I just finished desktop 1 training and am looking for other travel/transpo users to learn how you use your data.
I work primarily in the airline distribution area.

I work in the hotel industry as a Operations Revenue Data Analyst.
I recently finished a project mapping where guests were coming from and where they were staying (country / state / city), but typically I do a lot of various revenue and metric tracking.
