In our production org, the team has noticed that the schedule for a CRMA connection(which syncs CRM data with CRMA) is being removed automatically. This issue occurred a couple of months ago and has recently happened again.

I wanted to check if anyone else has experienced a similar issue and if there are any known reasons why this might be happening. @* CRM Analytics (fka Tableau CRM) *@Roman Michalik @Ada Xu

Hi! Similar to Adam, I've only seen this when a user is deactivated and then all its scheduled processes become unescheduled.

     Hi @Roopa M

CRM Analytics can work with Data Cloud data, but pulling a Data Model Object (DMO) directly into a standard CRM Analytics recipe depends on the supported integration path and your org configuration.

    You can consider these options:

    1. If the DMO is available through a supported connection, check whether it can be added as a connected object in CRM Analytics.
    2. You can access a DMO from Data 360 and select Explore in Analytics to analyze it directly in CRM Analytics.
    3. If you need to use the DMO data in a standard recipe, check whether you can expose the data through a supported data integration or synchronization method and then use the resulting connected object or dataset as the recipe input.

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an error while trying to create a new Analytics App using the built-in Sales Analytics Template in Salesforce Analytics Studio.

Error Details:

  • Error message: "Unable to create app based on template: [sfdc_internal__Sales_Analytics_Flex]"
  • Specific error: "Failed to parse the expression [${App.Datasets.case.FullyQualifiedName}]"

What I've already checked:

  • I have a dataset created from the Case object
  •  The dataset is named "case" (lowercase)
  •  The dataset contains data and is accessible
  •  I have proper permissions to create Analytics apps

Environment:

  • Salesforce Analytics Studio
  • Using the standard Sales Analytics template (sfdc_internal__Sales_Analytics_Flex)

Question:

Has anyone encountered this issue before? The template seems to be looking for a specific dataset reference that I believe I have set up correctly. What could be causing this parsing error, and are there any additional requirements or configurations I might be missing?

    Good news, @Thìn Nguyễn

    !

After checking with product management, I got the update that this was a known issue and the bugfix will be available next week. You should be able to use the template in one week from today.

I have two CRM Analytics dashboards in the same app: -

1)Dashboard A has a table of assets, grouped by Asset Name (dataset: DatasetA, field: Name). -

2) Dashboard B is a detail dashboard for one asset. It has a list widget "Select Asset Name" (dataset: DatasetB, field: Name).

Goal: when a user clicks an asset in the table on Dashboard A, Dashboard B should open in a new browser tab with that asset already selected.

Can you please advise how we can achieve this use case?

    Hi @Harshit Sahu,

Thanks for elaborating on the details.

Regarding different tabs vs pages: I don't think it's less clicks for the users to switch between different tabs vs pages.

With your new use case description using pages, this is much easier and can be done easily with "connected data sources" and "widget interactions".

Please follow the steps in the short video attached:

I've created a dashboard with two pages, based on different datasets, in my example opportunity data and opportunity product data (the more detailed information).

In the first step, I'm using widget interactions two switch from page A to page B. Make sure to enable "go back on deselect", so the user will always be back on page A as soon as they deselect the table. As you can see, switching between pages is working, but the selection in the table doesn't have any impact on the detail charts.

Recommendation: make sure to have the table where you are selecting a row on the second page. Otherwise, the "back on deselect" wouldn't work. Make sure, to use the "add to page" feature (small grey buttons at the bottom right) to achieve this - don't copy the table!

Step 2: connecting the two datasets, meaning creating relations between corresponding fields of the two datasets. In my example, I'm using the Opportunity ID, but it would also work with the Opportunity Name. Now the selection in the table filters the charts, which are based on a different dataset than the table.

I'm trying to bring in an image for each row i.e. the "Location Image".    For each row, my station image is stored in a rich text field. Has anybody been able to achieve something similar?

It depends on the amount of images - but you can upload several pictures combined in a zip-file via the image upload screen in CRM Analytics. But then you have to find a way to join the image links to the data, which might require a mapping table.

We are trying to find out who all users visited/viewed specific Account in Prod.

We tried to explore that through Analytics Studio > We connected LightningUriEvent object in data connector but when we run that it fails with below error.

Something went wrong while executing the Sync_LightningUriEvent node: [error category: USER]: MALFORMED_QUERY: ;Id > '0xxxxx000000000' ORDER BY Id ASC LIMIT 1 OFFSET 249999; ^;ERROR at Row:1:Column:72;field 'Id' can not be sorted in a query call [error category: USER] [error code: 213] (02xxxxxx0089ixxxAY_0xxxxxx000PxxxxEA3_300)

Upon researching found that it is a big object and not supported in analytics studio - can you confirm?

If yes, what is way forward? how can we see which all users viewed that Account.
