I'm trying to get my company on-board with using more pre-attentive attributes in their dashboards, rather than large text tables.
Rather than being a talking head and saying "we can process data much faster through the application of colors or shapes," I'd like them to see the results for themself.
Ideally, I'd like to TIME how long it takes them to find a specific number of entries on a giant text table vs. the a similar giant text table using pre-attentive attributes.
Before I reinvent the wheel, is anyone aware of existing dashboards or tests that could showcase this? I think the information becomes more valuable when they're doing the exercise on their own, rather than just being told "this is how it is."
