Colour-code specific STRING columns based on their contents

My challenge is in the "StringColouring" tab in the attached twbx: some columns (Country, Animal and Type) have corresponding "Check" columns; these columns and their respective Check columns need to be red when the check column says "Error" and green when "Correct" . I also have an "Overall Check" column so alternatively, I could have the WHOLE row red or green depending on if this Overall Check says Error or Correct, if that's easier.

I am comfortable using proxy variables to colour-code a column's contents based on its numeric value (see "Metrics Colouring tab" in attached twbx) but it doesn't work for strings.

Does anybody have a clever workaround please?
