Creating Donut Chart in Tableau

Hi Tableau Experts,

 

I am very new to Tableau and this is my first post here.

 

Can you people please help me in creating donut chart in Tableau. I know it's a bit complex but I require this ASAP for my client.

Please help me on this

    Hi,

     

     

    Please find some simple steps to achieve a quickly built donut chart.

     

    1. Create a calculation field namely zero.

    Hi, Please find some simple steps to achieve a quickly built donut chart. 1. Create a calculation field namely zero. 2. Then take Sum of Zero twice in the row shelf. Click on Dual axis. 3.

     

    2. Then take Sum of Zero twice in the row shelf. Click on Dual axis.

    3. In Marks Card for first Sum(Zero).. Select it as Pie. and in second one Select it as Circle.

    Decrease the size of circle.

     

    4. Put the Dimension in the color shelf which needs to be segregated in Pie chart

    And then put the Measure in Size shelf.

    BOTH in Marks card for first SUM(Zero)
