Good Morning - I am attempting to make a connection to Blackboard from Tableau. I am working with our Blackboard Server Admin but he is not familiar with Tableau
I am trying to create the connection using Oracle. For the Server info he has listed an IP Address. Does this seem normal? I have never used this type of detail for a connection and just want to verify this is correct.

@Ken Flerlage I tried what you suggested and tried to connect via MS SQL Server but no luck. That said the SSID in the connection credentials do say to use ORACLE and was able to connect via the ORACLE. Based upon previous research, connection of Blackboard to Tableau seems like something that not too many people try. Thanks for your help!
