Hello! We use Salesforce Enagagement and frequently use the Email Template Monthly Engagement report with tells us by template unique sends, opens, replies and links clicked. The problem is that multiple contacts from the same account could be in the same cadence and we need to see the reach to unique accounts. So for example, there may be 1000 contacts in the cadence we email each month but that is for 800 unique accounts. Is there a way to show this? There is no field in this report type and I do not see a way to create a custom report type in setup. Thank you in advance.
Hi @Jaime Blalock - Unfortunately, the standard Email Template Monthly Engagement report doesn’t expose Account-level fields, and Salesforce doesn’t currently allow a custom report type for that engagement data.
A practical workaround is to export the report and calculate unique Account IDs externally in Excel/Sheets. If you need this directly inside Salesforce, you would likely need a custom solution that captures engagement against Contact/Lead records and relates it back to Account for reporting.
