Does partner community license has access to create tasks? I am able to view and edit tasks, but not able to create tasks. I am working on the experience site.

Yes, Partner Community license can create Tasks in Experience Cloud.

By default, Create permission on Task object is often not enabled.

You can view & edit Tasks (common behavior), but Create requires extra setup.

Go to the Partner Community Profile (or better, a Permission Set).

Under Object Settings --> Task--> Enable Create permission.

Also enable Read and Edit on Task.

In System Permissions, enable Edit Events (important for Activities).

Add New Task Quick Action to the parent record page layout (e.g., Opportunity/Account).

For Experience Site (LWR), ensure the action/component is visible to the Partner profile.

Set Activity Sharing to Controlled by Parent for better visibility.

Always test after changes using Login As the Partner user.

This usually fixes the issue. Use a Permission Set instead of editing the base profile directly.
