First - great call today - even though I almost missed it :)

Next - I have a problem (of course :)) which I have just hit the wall on (otherwise I would have posted it before the call).

I have a flow approval process. I want to update two emails - one that goes to the reviewer (I found that one in an approval process flow). I updated that one. Now I'm trying to find the email that goes to the submitter. I'm not finding it anywhere. I have checked email templates, flows and some other places in SF and still not coming up with anything. There is a help article which says that these emails can be configured - just can't find it - any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks!!! Have a great long weekend all!

    Hi,

This depends on whether you’re using a classic Approval Process or submitting for approval from Flow.

If it’s a classic approval, the submitter email lives inside the approval process itself. Open the approval process in Setup and check the Initial Submission Actions and the Final Approval/Rejection Actions. If there’s an Email Alert there, that’s what’s going to the submitter. If there isn’t one, Salesforce is just sending the standard system email, and that one isn’t editable.

If this is Flow-based approval, there’s no hidden submitter email to edit. The built-in notification is generic, so if you want a custom message you need to send your own email from the Flow right after submission. That’s usually where the confusion comes from.

    Hope this helps!
