Why do text templates in flow show as HTML?

Hi, 

I created a flow to create tasks related to Leads when they are created or their status are updated. I added a text template to add a simple subject to this tasks, but it is showing up with the HTML tags.

And this is how it looks when the task is created: 

Why is this happening? This is how the "Create Record" is configured in the flow:
