When either setting up an Email Alert, Salesforce will not make my org's default no-reply email address as an option. On an Email Action within Flow, Salesforce will not let you Save a flow if the sender is the default no-reply email address. Why can't I select my no-reply email address as a sender within an Email Alert or Flow?

If your Org-Wide Email Address is configured exclusively as Default No-Reply Address, it won't appear in the available options.
The solution is surprisingly simple: Instead of selecting the email address from the dropdown, enter it manually.
