steps involved in the successful deployment of code/component

Hi could someone explain me.. how to track or where to see the progress of the code/components while trying to deploy them into production using change sets  or i would say what are steps involved in the succesful deployment

    You can check the deployment progress in Setup, click Deployment Status or Deploy | Deployment Status
